3 Months Transitioning
The process of going natural
has been very ugly and rough. [I mean that
literally]. I got tired of
the same hairstyles and trying to figure out what I wanted to do with my hair
every week so I decided it was time. So I went ahead and got Senegelease
Braids. I must admit when I first got them they couldn’t tell me anything, but
after a week my hair began growing out of my braids. I was slightly disappointed
with my hair growth. [I know I shouldn’t
be because it’s just new growth, but damn can I enjoy them for the time being?]. I decided that it was time to give my hair a
break and I got braids. I like them, but you know what I love about them the
most, I don’t have to do my hair. LOL!!!!! It’s probably one of the best things
about it. So I’m thinking about giving my hair a routine. I think after the
braids I’m going to get extensions. It’s something different and I think it
will be a great protective hairstyle. So what do you think about my braids???
My hair crush is Chime
Edwards. She has the world most beautiful hair in the entire world. [at least I think so]…..I have been watching youtube videos and
reading blogs about Chime hair care routine and what she did while
transitioning. I know that I will probably never have hair like that, but can a
girl just dream? J
